Handmade noodles dressed in a sesame-chili sauce topped with ground shitake, peanuts, and bok choy greens.
Serves 1 person.
Dan Dan noodles are a classic street food in Sichuan, China. "Dan" is the name for the shoulder poll which street sellers used to to carry the noodles and toppings back in the day. This toasted sesame - chili smothered noodle dish was traditionally topped with ground pork, but we've opted to keep it vegetarian... and trust me, you wont miss the meat on these savory noodles. Delicious warm or cold.
Reheating Instructions: Microwave OR In a pan - put a tablespoon of water and the noodles. Turn on low and cover with a lid. Heat until warmed through.
