Banchan Foods Vegan Kimchi is a slightly milder version of our Original Spicy Kimchi.

Our small-batch production ensures the preservation of flavor and nutrients, delivering a product rich in probiotics for optimal gut health. As it ages, its flavors deepen and evolve, creating a flavorful masterpiece that evolves with time. Depending on several variables, from the temperature and length of fermentation to the flavor profiles of the produce available, no two batches of kimchi are ever the same.

Keep refrigerated for up to a year. Since kimchi is made of fermented vegetables, technically it can last forever and is made to last a long time. If the taste changes it is still edible. In Korea they say Kimchi can never expire. You'll probably polish it off before it gets 'too interesting' but don't worry-- if the flavor shifts, it's still packed with all the healthy goodness you love.

As someone who is looking to expand their palate and try new flavors that are also super beneficial for health, I was excited to try this Kimchi.

In this day and age where processed foods are causing us all sorts of stomach issues, I was concerned about how the spice might hurt. So as a recommendation from a local friend, they suggested I try the Vegan option as it has a slightly different flavor from the original recipe.

I was pleasantly surprised at how it truly was the perfect combination of flavors! I love to enjoy it with cheesy Tteokbokki or with a rice bowl. I paired it with Seoul Food’s Beef Bulgogi bowl and it kicked it up a notch! Looking forward to trying it in a ramen bowl as well. This is a perfect gift for anyone to have in their fridge all year round that can be added to so many dishes. I feel great eating it as I know it won’t activate any gut issues and actually helps with it!

Unlike the mass-produced kinds you can purchase at the Supermarkets, this Kimchi is the real deal! Most importantly you can tell that it is made by people who love to provide comfort with food from and for the soul! Looking forward to enjoying many more batches of this local delicacy because there isn’t anything like it!
