Good portion.

Way too dry and tasteless.

I have lived in the SoCal desert (Borrego Springs) where fresh dates were plump, sweet, and tasty. Perhaps these were last season's dates, but to make them edible I'll need to rehydrate at the very least. Sorry - not very good.
