Ms Rachel’s Jam
Hey I'm Rachel Alcocer. I come from the food world, spending over ten years in the industry, most of that in upper management at Sprouts Farmers Market. In 2021, I stepped away from that career to become a stay-at-home mom, not realizing at the time that a whole new path was about to unfold.
Not long after, my mother-in-law randomly taught me how to make pepper jelly, and I was instantly hooked. There was something so satisfying about the process: the creativity, the transformation of simple ingredients into something special. What started as curiosity quickly turned into experimenting with different fruits, vegetables, and flavor combinations just for fun.
I’ve always loved hosting and putting together charcuterie boards with friends, and honestly, the 90s kid in me that grew up on Lunchables kind of sees this as the elevated, adult version of that, which makes it even more fun for me.
Eventually, my friends started asking to order from me, and they really encouraged me to take it seriously before I felt ready. They had more confidence in me than I had in myself at first, and their encouragement pushed me to get licensed and go for it at the end of 2022 which is when I started my work as a sole proprietor. I officially established my LLC May 2025, and that’s how Ms. Rachel’s Jam truly came to be.
Ms. Rachel’s Jam is built on creativity, quality, and a whole lot of heart. Every jar is made with intention, inspired by bold flavors, and meant to bring people together...whether it’s around a charcuterie board, a family table, or a simple moment worth savoring.
