Daily Feeding Guide 

General Rule:

Feed approximately 2–3% of your dog’s body weight per day

(≈ 0.5 oz per lb of body weight)

Standard Maintenance (Moderate Activity)

Adjustments by Goal

High Activity / Working Dogs:

Increase to 3–4% of body weight

Weight Loss:

Reduce to 1.5–2% of body weight

Puppies:

Feed 4–6% of body weight, divided into 3 meals daily

Storage

Keep refrigerated. Freeze if not using within 7-10 days.

Each package contains 5 lbs (80 oz) vacuum-sealed fresh.

Transitioning to Fresh Food 

When switching from dry kibble to fresh, whole food meals, we recommend a gradual transition to avoid temporary digestive upset.

Start by mixing 25% fresh food with 75% current food for 2–3 days.

Then move to 50/50 for 2–3 days, followed by 75% fresh and 25% old food for another few days before fully transitioning.

Because fresh food is more nutrient-dense and easier to digest, some dogs may experience mild stool changes during the adjustment period. This is normal and typically resolves as their system adapts.

If your dog has a sensitive stomach or underlying health condition, transition more slowly and consult your veterinarian if needed.

Hydration Notice 

Because our fully balanced, human-grade meals contain naturally hydrating whole foods, you may notice your dog drinking less water than usual.

This is completely normal.

When transitioning from dry, heavily processed kibble to fresh, moisture-rich nutrition, dogs often stay hydrated and satiated longer. Don’t be surprised if their water bowl stays full much longer than before.

Simply put — if your dog is thirsty, they will drink.
