![]() KOR kitchen
"Indulge in the essence of Afghan cuisine at Kor Kitchen, where every dish tells a story of resilience, hope, and the transformative power of food. My name is Sophia Zekria, and my journey from the bustling streets of Kabul to the vibrant community of Kor Kitchen is a testament to the strength of the human spirit.
Born and raised in Afghanistan, I grew up surrounded by the rich tapestry of Afghan culture and the comforting aroma of my grandmother's kitchen. But as conflict swept through our homeland, my family's journey took an unexpected turn, and we found ourselves seeking refuge in a new land.
Arriving in San Luis Obispo I carried with me the flavors of home and the memories of my grandmother's cooking. Determined to preserve our culinary heritage and share it with others, I embarked on a mission to bring the taste of Afghanistan to our new community.
Kor Kitchen is more than just a business; it's a symbol of resilience, a beacon of hope, and a testament to the transformative power of food.... More

![]() Julia's Juices
Julia's Juices started when Julia Gomez & her husband Javier Magana moved onto a farm in Arroyo Grande. Julia, at the time, was working at local farmers' market selling fresh produce. The abundance of local seasonal produce readily available inspired Julia to begin juicing. Bringing her creative concoctions with her to market & having people sample her home-made juices. Julia realized a business was beginning to bud. Towing home seedlings from the market. Julia & Javier planted their first garden for their cold pressed juice company Julia's Juices. From a small stand at Farmers, flourished into a brick & mortar Julia's Juice Bar. What started as a small garden grew into Red Barn Farms that grew on SLO City Farms. Julia's Juices has always stride to provide the community w/ farm-fresh cold pressed juice. From our family to your health!

![]() Gold Land BBQ
Gold Land BBQ originated as fresh spin on the classic live fire cooking of California’s Central Coast. Our Santa Maria-Style catering & events offering focuses on the perfect blend of red oak smoke with simple seasonings that really highlight the natural quality of the product.
Since opening a brick and mortar location in the Creamery Marketplace in downtown SLO, we've expanded our menu to include items from across the American barbecue trail, such as: pork ribs, brisket, pulled pork, and half chicken. These meats are smoked at a lower temperature for longer, resulting in "fall off the bone" tenderness.
We cook each item to order and vacuum seal for maximum consistency. Each order comes marked with reheat instructions and best by date.

![]() Evergreen Soups
I have always loved the theme farm to table, using local organic ingredients and making soup for people who are too busy to cook for themselves or just want to enjoy someone else soup. My inspiration came from going to the farmers market and not seeing enough vegan/gluten free/Kosher food products, in hopes of having people enjoy my soup as much as I do.
My products DO NOT contain natural flavors, citric acid, alcohol, yeast or MSG.
