Harvestly has a $5 flat rate delivery fee for orders under $50 within 40 miles of San Luis Obispo. If you are unsure if Harvestly is delivering near you, just give us a call or email us here.
Our order deadlines are Wednesday at midnight before the delivery date to eliminate food waste and ensure everything is made or harvested to order. This timeline gives our farms time to harvest and pack your order or gives our food makers time to prepare fresh foods for you.
All frozen and refrigerated items are placed in temperature controlled containers at the Harvestly fulfillment center upon arrival.
When orders are ready to head to your door, our delivery drivers will place your frozen items in their ice chests for a safe delivery to your home. All other perishable (non-frozen) products are taken out of refrigeration and packed in your own insulated delivery bag with an ice pack immediately before your driver goes out the door for delivery, which will usually arrive within 0-2 hours after leaving our delivery hub.
All orders with perishable items are packed with an ice pack to ensure your order stays cool–even at your doorstep.
At Harvestly, we pride ourselves on excellent communication with our customers. If you're not home, no worries — you’ll receive a text message when your driver is on their way, and another once your bag has been delivered to your front door.
To ensure the freshness and safety of your perishable items, we recommend picking up your bag within two hours of receiving the delivery confirmation text. That way, you can promptly move your items into your refrigerator, freezer, or pantry.
Some vendors on Harvestly are certified organic, but we do not require all of our local vendors to be certified organic. Follow each vendor on their websites or social media profiles to find out more of their farming practices!
We define local as within the same county area. This means that all the food that you can order was grown or made in right here on the Central Coast.
If you have already placed an order for delivery this week and you would now like to add more products to that same delivery, simply place another order!
As long as this new order is still placed before the order deadline, we will add this new order to the same delivery.
If you are charged for a delivery fee again with this new order, we recognize when there are multiple orders to the same delivery address, and we will automatically refund you for any duplicate delivery fees.

We include a 5% service fee with every order. This fee helps cover our cost to pick up vendor products, sort and place them in Harvestly bags, and coordinate your delivery. It also pays for Harvestly insulated bags and ice packs that are not returned.
