Dig Into Our Story

Harvestly was planted in 2020 by a Cal Poly student who saw a growing need: small family farmers were producing incredible food but struggling to reach customers and grow their businesses. What started as a student-led effort quickly took root—and in 2021, Harvestly transitioned into a nonprofit to deepen its mission and expand its impact.

Our mission is simple but powerful: to grow a community that supports the sustainable success of small family farms and kitchens throughout San Luis Obispo and Northern Santa Barbara Counties.

We connect people to food that’s fresh, local, and thoughtfully made—typically harvested or prepared within 48 hours of delivery. Whether it’s headed to a home, school, food bank, or nonprofit, every delivery supports a more transparent, fair, and sustainable food system.

Every vendor on Harvestly sets their own prices and manages their own inventory. That means you’re buying directly from the source—with no middlemen, just real people growing and making real food.

Our easy-to-use online marketplace features over 1,200 local products from nearly 100 vendors, including everything from fresh fruit and pasture-raised meats to baked goods, eggs, ready-to-eat meals, and more. You can browse, ask vendors questions, leave reviews, and discover new favorites—all in one place.

We believe everyone deserves access to high-quality, nutritious food. That’s why we’re committed to affordable and reliable delivery—straight to your doorstep every Friday, from Paso Robles to Orcutt. Just place your order by Wednesday at midnight!
