About this product
Duck eggs from Tenalach Ranch. We have eight different breeds that roam our one-acre garden and orchard. Eggs will vary slightly in color and size.
They are wonderful on their own, or ideal for home bakers.
• Size and Caloric Density: Duck eggs are roughly 50% larger on average than standard chicken eggs, meaning a single duck egg yields more total mass, protein (~9g vs ~6g per whole individual egg), and fat.
• Vitamins and Minerals: Duck eggs edge ahead significantly in vitamin B12, iron, and folate concentrations. They also contain higher levels of Omega-3 fatty acids.
• Fat and Cholesterol: Duck eggs possess a larger, richer yolk with significantly higher fat content and roughly triple the cholesterol per individual egg compared to a standard chicken egg.
