Harvestly is a nonprofit strengthening the Central Coast by connecting the community with the freshest local food and the farms and kitchens creating it. Our doorstep delivery marketplace is our mission in action. Produce harvested hours before it reaches you, bread baked in a cottage kitchen the morning of delivery day, and prepared foods made with local ingredients. All listed for sale directly by the farmers and makers behind it, and they’re just a message away whenever you have a question. Harvestly is the farmer’s market and more, direct to your door.

We also work with local food banks and school districts to help more of our community access high quality produce grown right here on the Central Coast.

Our Mission and Values

Our community is stronger when food stays local.

Harvestly builds thriving communities by connecting people with the freshest local food and the farms and kitchens creating it.

We’re making the Central Coast a place where farmers and makers build livelihoods for generations, where people value knowing who grows and makes their food, and where healthy, fairly sourced food is accessible to everyone.

We believe every harvest has a story, every farmer and maker deserves lasting partnerships and a fair share of each sale, and every eater deserves a seat at the table.

How it works

Local groceries and more, delivered to your doorstep every week.

Here's how it works!

  2. A market basket with a cabbage, a tomato, a carrot, flowers, and a dog treat

    Browse and fill your bag

Produce, dairy and eggs, bread and baked goods, prepared foods, flowers, and more from Central Coast farms and kitchens. $15 minimum order. We're a marketplace where you're shopping from local farms and kitchens directly, fulfilled by Harvestly.

  3. A calendar marked Wednesday with a moon and stars

Check out by Wednesday at midnight

Forgot something? You can add to your order right up until the cutoff. A 5% service fee is added at checkout. Delivery is free for orders of $50+, and $5 for orders under $50.

  4. An open Harvestly insulated bag being packed with greens, bread, and a carrot, with an ice pack beside it Harvestly

Freshly prepared and packed with care

Local farmers and food makers harvest and prepare your order, then we pack it into insulated bags with ice packs as needed.

  5. The Harvestly delivery van on its way to a map pin, with a text bubble saying On our way Harvestly On our way!

    Delivered Friday afternoon

Your Harvestly bag lands on your doorstep Friday afternoon. You'll get a text when your driver is on the way, and another when your order has arrived. Feel free to meet your driver at the door or keep it contactless. Our drivers are local too: they get to know your stop, your dog, and they read your delivery preferences. All of your tip goes directly to your driver in full.

  6. A bowl of fresh greens and a speech bubble holding a heart

Enjoy, and let us know how it went!

Tell us what you loved and if we could do anything better.

We’re not a CSA, no subscription required, ever. You build your own order down to the number of cucumbers. You can even order without creating yet another account. Ask the farms, not us

How a farm grows isn't ours to describe. Here they are, quoted from their own pages.

“We never apply pesticides or chemical fertilizers. That's not a certification — it's just how we farm.”

Brannum Family Farms

“Although we are not a certified organic farm—primarily due to the challenges of leasing rather than owning our land and the associated costs—our dedication to the environment remains strong. For over 18 years, we have farmed the same soil without using harmful pesticides.”

Cortez Family Farm

The largest selection of Central Coast storefronts

One honest asterisk: every vendor is Central Coast except Straus Family Creamery, organic milk from family farms in Marin and Sonoma Counties, stocked by us because customers kept asking for it. Better you hear it from us.

Where the money goes

75–85% goes straight to the vendor
The farm or kitchen sets the price. Produce, egg and plant growers keep 80% (some produce keeps 85%), prepared food makers and most other vendors keep 75%, and nonprofit vendors keep 85% of every product’s price.
Up to 25% keeps the market running
This covers our operations like: pickup from vendors, sorting and packing, customer service, cold storage, and marketing that makes us stronger together. We keep our margins as low as we can to pass on as much as we can to our local farmers and food makers.

Two Ways to get Involved

Give

Orders keep the farms in business. Donations reach what an order can’t — cold-chain equipment, the reusable bags and ice packs that don’t make it home, and saying yes to a school or food bank program before its funding lands.

Prefer to talk it through? Email [email protected] or call (805) 457-5818 about giving.

Simply buy your groceries

Every order makes a difference to a small farm’s bottom line or a baker’s books. Have a look at what’s ripe, and you’ll see who grew or cooked it before it goes in the bag. Love the experience of chatting with your farmers and food makers at the farmer’s market? You can send any vendor a message directly on the product page or their vendor page.
