A-Town Humble Pies is a family team of bakers from Atascadero who wish to share their passion for pie goodness with the community.

Alle-Pia creates some of the finest salami, sausages, and other cured meats. Each small batch of their products are created with love by the talented Antonio Varia, Chef and Owner of Buona Tavola Restaurants in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles.

I'm from the Charleston SC and am super excited to be opening a space celebrating southern culture and food. We are a community forward company that is already super involved with French Hospital and support a ton of local charities. My background is full of national level awards form my time in Charleston where I picked up some amazing recipes and techniques and am excited to share these with SLO. My fiancé is finishing her Masters in Therapy and we are excited to be doing what we can to bring some positivity to her hometown of SLO.

Hi friends, Paula here. I'm a local sourdough in-home baker. We only do traditional small batch sourdough.  I started my sourdough adventure after going gluten-free and wanting bread that didn't taste like cardboard. I started researching the slow-fermenting natural yeast and the benefits of eating it instead of what you find in the stores. Sourdough is a live fermented culture, "the starter," which acts as a natural leavening agent. The starter is what gives it that incredible texture and flavor. So much science! I use no commercial yeast, no preservatives, or additives. It makes the bread and goodies easier to digest and process even for gluten sensitive people. I take pride in my products and love the fact that I can share in the community my joy and love of baking bread and all the things sourdough.  I hope I can help you enjoy bread and all the goodies again.
