The Bautista Family has been working hard since 1988 growing and selling produce at Farmers Markets and to dozens of restaurants on the central coast.  Our Goal is to provide the community with the freshest highest quality produce possible. Thanks to the wonderful Climate on the Central Coast we are able to grow and harvest such a large variety of produce year-round.

Banchan Foods offers premium small batch kimchi, using the freshest vegetables sourced directly from our local farmers' markets. Meticulously crafted, it is more than just a Korean side dish– it's a living, breathing testament to the transformative power of fermentation. As it ages, its flavors deepen and evolve, creating a rich, and intense flavor that evolves with time. We like it spicy at Banchan Foods, and our kimchi delivers just that.  

I'm from the Charleston SC and am super excited to be opening a space celebrating southern culture and food. We are a community forward company that is already super involved with French Hospital and support a ton of local charities. My background is full of national level awards form my time in Charleston where I picked up some amazing recipes and techniques and am excited to share these with SLO. My fiancé is finishing her Masters in Therapy and we are excited to be doing what we can to bring some positivity to her hometown of SLO.

Alle-Pia creates some of the finest salami, sausages, and other cured meats. Each small batch of their products are created with love by the talented Antonio Varia, Chef and Owner of Buona Tavola Restaurants in San Luis Obispo and Paso Robles.

At Akasha Farms, we believe in working with the land, not against it. As a no-till market garden, our farm is built on principles of sustainability, soil health, and community. Instead of heavy machinery, we rely on human hands to cultivate the earth, fostering a deep connection between people and the food they grow.
