Peach and Blueberry Jalousie

What's a jalousie you say? A jalousie is a classic pastry featuring fruit or cream filling sandwiched between two layers of pastry, with the top layer slashed to resemble a slatted jalouise window. 

Our jalousie is a turnover made with stewed spiced peaches and as many fresh blueberries as can fit inside. Hand shapped, and cut to resemble a jalousie window.

Ingredients: Unbleached wheat flour, water, unsalted butter, peach, blueberry, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, sea salt, lemon zest, and egg.
